PACE-RI fosters a supportive environment to do your work and maintain a healthy work/life balance. Employees are eligible for benefits based upon their employment status as well as the number of hours they are scheduled to work per week.

Employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for our full benefits package which includes:

  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • Voluntary Life Insurance options

  • Flexible Spending Account options
  • 403(b) Savings Plan with company match

PACE-RI is an all-inclusive health plan for eligible older adults who wish to remain living in their home and community. The organization provides medical, social, nutritional, rehabilitation and support services for adults aged 55 and older who otherwise may need nursing home level of care. Because PACE-RI is both the insurer and provider of care for participants, our providers enjoy great flexibility with care planning and delivery that is not often found within other care models.

The foundation of the PACE model of care is the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), which works with each participant on a customized care plan. This true team approach provides a comprehensive view of a participant’s life and helps us deliver more wholistic solutions to wellness, leading to better outcomes and higher participant satisfaction.

Making A Difference.

The number of people ages 55+  in Rhode Island is growing significantly. Along with that growth comes an increasing interest in services that help older adults continue living in the community. PACE-RI empowers frail elders by providing the care and resources needed to remain independent and at home. Our comprehensive approach provides a blend of medical, behavioral, and social care. PACE-RI participants live safely at home for four years longer than their peers who aren’t enrolled.

When you’re in the industry of care, it’s a rewarding, but sometimes exhausting, field.  Employees often feel depleted because of the physical and emotional demands placed upon them so it’s important to keep everyone mission focused and feeling supported.  Ensuring employees are satisfied in their roles is essential to having a successful organization.

In order to achieve employee satisfaction, organizations must go beyond simply keeping workers happy and handing them a paycheck. Instead, employees want a workplace that inspires, challenges and validates them.

PACE-RI has proven itself to be a supportive employer, according to the people that work here. Our mission resonates with our employees: we provide comprehensive care to medically complex elders keeping them independent and living at home. 70 percent of our staff responded to the 2022 PACE-RI Employee Satisfaction Survey and the results validate our efforts to create a positive work environment. According to the survey:

  • 99% of respondents find the PACE-RI mission inspiring
  • 97% of respondents see themselves working at PACE in a year
  • 96% of respondents feel PACE’s culture fosters a respectful and supportive work environment
  • 94% of respondents feel their PACE supervisor is invested in their success
  • 96% of respondents would recommend PACE to friends as an employer.

The pool of respondents came from direct care, life enrichment, human resources, marketing, transportation, and many more disciplines. More than 90 percent of all respondents reported overall satisfaction while working at PACE, with 99 percent of respondents reporting that they find our mission to be inspiring.

In 2022, employees are reconsidering their options after pandemic isolation and the freedom of working remotely.  It is a positive organizational culture that is motivating employees to return to a traditional workplace setting.  According to a study from Deloitte, “Gen Z and millennials want a better work-life balance, better learning and development opportunities, improved mental health and wellness support, and a greater commitment from businesses to make a positive societal impact.”

Applicants are reassessing their personal priorities. It is becoming increasingly important to job candidates that one’s values align with the mission and objectives of their employer.
