Who is PACE for?
PACE is a health plan designed for older adults who are still able to live at home but need daily care. Many PACE participants have cognitive issues such as Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. Other participants may have different challenges diabetes, depression/anxiety, or other diagnoses. In fact, most PACE-RI participants have multiple health issues that are addressed daily by their PACE-RI care team.
Who is Eligible?
People who are:
55 years or older
In need of a clinical level of care as determined by the state
Able to live safely in the community at time of enrollment
Reside in our service area (All of RI, excluding Block Island and Prudence Island)
How Much Does PACE-RI Cost?
Cost is determined by the State of Rhode Island, based on your income. If you do not have Medicaid, our enrollment team can help you learn if you may be eligible. We also can assist with any related paperwork. Even if you don’t qualify for RI Medicaid, joining PACE-RI using the private-pay option is a fraction of the cost of the average nursing home – and you get to live in the comfort of your own home and in your own community.
