As Rhode Island’s population gets older, more and more adults are going to need help around the house. And while some families can rely on friends and relatives to pick up the slack when it comes to their elders, many families don’t have that option. That’s where home health care services can step in. For older adults who are well enough to live at home but need extra support to do so, PACE-RI offers options to keep them safe and well.

As part of our comprehensive array of offerings, PACE-RI is able to provide services to elderly folks who qualify to receive an extra hand at home. Our staff can assist with a range of needs, including:

  • Buying groceries
  • Coordinating prescription delivery
  • Light housework
  • Laundry services
  • Medication management
  • Personal Care
  • Meal preparation
  • Home exercise programs

These home care services help provide a structure and routine for older adults. With help from PACE-RI, your loved one can continue to enjoy their home and community.

Tailoring Your Elderly Care Services at Home

When it comes to elderly home healthcare services, there is a wide range of options available in Rhode Island. For PACE-RI, home care is designed to fit the needs of the participant. Our team takes the need for home care very seriously, given the lack of socialization that participants can face without regular day center attendance. But when home care is the right option for a participant, we ensure that they receive the care that they medically need in the home.

Our staff is eager to find the right balance of care for each participant. That means making participants comfortable with the clinical team they work with. From nurses to social workers, every member of the PACE-RI staff has the same goal: To keep participants healthy and well at home. No matter what care needs are involved, we go the extra mile to ensure that professional home health care home care for our elderly participants is tailored to their unique needs.

A Home Health Care Company That Partners with You

As most older adults in Rhode Island know, there are plenty of options when it comes to home health care agencies. As an organization that spans the entire state, PACE-RI is proud to have created our own program while also contracting with some of the best home care agencies in the state. Our commitment to participant wellness is unmatched. That’s why we are so confident in our ability to provide health care that addresses our participants’ needs. We offer elderly home health care services all over RI, including:

  • Providence, RI
  • Warwick, RI
  • Cranston, RI
  • Woonsocket, RI

What makes an agency’s home health care program great? It starts with the people. Having knowledgeable experts with years of experience helping elders maintain their health at home is vital to our program’s success. We work as a team to coordinate care and build a plan for each participant. With daily team meetings and updates, our clinicians and staffers can stay connected and adapt quickly to changing circumstances. That’s what makes us so resilient. With a proven track record of improved health outcomes, our home care staff are second to none.

Older adults who are part of the PACE program have fewer hospital visits and avoid going to the nursing home for around 4 years on average. Best of all, the program is affordable. For many older adults on Medicare and/or Medicaid, the cost can be partially or even entirely covered. While in-home elderly care services can be tough to find at an affordable price, PACE-RI strives to address every participant’s needs. If your loved one is homebound and in need of care, make the call that will change their life for the better. Call PACE-RI today.
