Under the direction of the Life Enrichment Coordinator, the Assistant plans and creatively implements daily activity programs such as: exercise groups, weekly devotions, special event planning, educational programs, manicures, arts and crafts and trips.
The Life Enrichment Assistant is responsible for Initial, Annual, and Semi-Annual Life Enrichment assessments of participants in accordance with the Outcome Based activity model. The Assistant carries out individual and group activities tailored to the needs and limitations of frail elders both in the Adult Day Health Center and in the home setting. This position also assists with lunch service in the Day Center as necessary.
